Spaghetti squash is a melon shaped winter squash with a yellow skin, and bright yellow or orange flesh. When cooked, the flesh falls away from the fruit in ribbons or strands like spaghetti.

Spaghetti squash is a fall favorite. It is a versatile winter squash and can be baked at temperatures of 350-400 for approximately 1 hour. To check if it is done poke the squash with a dull knife till it reaches required softness. Spaghetti squash may also be boiled or steamed, and served with sauce as a pasta. Spaghetti squash contains many nutrients and will add a healthy positive boost to your day.
